Liv Morgan’s tremendous momentum came to a halt on this week’s edition of RAW after she suffered a shoulder dislocation at the start of her scheduled match. Hours after the unfortunate incident, a new update has hinted at a potential timeline for Morgan’s return.

According to a report by PWInsider, Liv Morgan did suffer a legitimate injury. Should it be severe, she could be out of action for close to 16 weeks. As of now, there is no word on the severity of her injury, and no one involved has received any backstage heat for the incident.

“Liv Morgan’s shoulder dislocation injury is 100% legitimate. If it’s a severe dislocation, it could be upwards of 16 weeks before someone is cleared for athletic activity,” the outlet revealed. “But again, it’s all dependent on the severity. It was seen as a freak occurrence, and there is no heat on anyone.”

Liv Morgan had a major presence on the June 16th edition of Monday Night RAW. She opened the show with her onscreen boyfriend and had an altercation with IYO Sky, the reigning WWE Women’s World Champion. Later that night, she was scheduled to battle IYO’s partner, Kairi Sane, in a singles bout.

As the bell rang, they locked up, and a few moments later, Morgan landed awkwardly on the mat, injuring herself in the process. She had to be escorted from the ringside with the help of WWE officials, although she walked on her own. Moreover, Morgan was reportedly evaluated as soon as she arrived backstage.

The current WWE Tag Team Champion also began a feud with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella last week. A heated war of words led to Morgan dropping her to the mat with her finisher, the Oblivion. Moreover, it was reported that WWE was building towards a feud between them for the upcoming WWE Evolution PLE.
