Also in the night, the fans witnessed two title matches, and other explosive in-ring showdowns. Moreover, this week in London was also marked by some interesting moments that would shape the landscape of WWE moving forward.

Best Match
The best match of this week’s WWE SmackDown goes to the clash between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre. The two top stars collided after a brief altercation at the start of the show. They delivered an exceptional showdown that had the fans of London on the edge of their seats.
Moreover, Orton lost the match after interference from Kevin Owens, giving Drew McIntyre a huge win on the road to WrestleMania. This would surely be a major boost for McIntyre heading into WrestleMania 41.
Worst Match

The worst match of WWE SmackDown in London was evident from the lack of reaction during Charlotte Flair’s match against Michin. Despite Flair’s star power, fans were not interested in the bout, even after Naomi made Michin look weak by attacking, and she tried to put her best effort to fight the 14-time World Champion.
Noteworthy Moments
The biggest noteworthy moment of the night was the revelation of CM Punk‘s realisation of his lifelong dream that will come true at WrestleMania 41. He came out to the ring along with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to sign the contract for their triple-threat match. It was during that time that Paul Heyman revealed that the match would be the main event of WrestleMania 41, and CM Punk was finally a WrestleMania main eventer, much to the loud pop of the audience and ‘You Deserve It’ chant.

Another big moment came during the opening segment of the night with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. The former teacher-protege duo met in the ring where Orton applauded Rhodes’ accomplishments and looked ahead to WrestleMania 41. But he made it clear that after the show is over, and knowing Rhodes will retain his title over John Cena, there will come a time when he will come for his 15th World title against Rhodes.
Another noteworthy moment was the growing tensions between Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. This came after the duo interfered in the United States title match between Braun Strowman and LA Knight. It seems that a possible WrestleMania match might be on the horizon for them to settle their differences.

The last noteworthy moment was Damian Priest outsmarting his rival Drew McIntyre with an attack backstage. The segment ended with Priest putting McIntyre through a car windshield with a South of Haven chokeslam that led to a glass piece going in his eye.
Holy Sh!@ Moments
WWE SmackDown ended on a Holy Sh!@ moment this week in London. As CM Punk was caught up with emotion upon learning that he will finally main event WrestleMania this year, Roman Reigns claimed the credit. He asked Punk to acknowledge, which he actually did. But as the show closed, Punk made one statement that was a huge shocker, as heard in the fans’ reaction and Paul Heyman’s expression. He said, “That’s not the favor that I’m owed.’
Another jaw-dropping moment from WWE SmackDown this week was the revelation of the mysterious man shown in vignettes since the last few weeks, who is former AEW star Rey Fenix.
Lowlights

This week saw the debut of Kayden Karter and Katana Chance on SmackDown, competing in a lackluster tag team match against Piper Niven and Alba Fyre. It ended with less-than-no reactions for them, and Piper delivering the Piper Driver to Chance to win for her team. The only saving grace of this was Chelsea Green’s presence and timely interference to help Piper and Alba win.
The tag team title match between The Street Profits was a good showdown to watch for the audience. But in our opinion, the match could have gone better with a proper build up for fans to actually give full attention.
Similarly, Jimmy Uso’s match against The Miz seemed like a filler on the card. Most likely, it was done further to hype Jimmy’s upcoming match against Gunther on RAW next week.
What’s in store for WWE SmackDown next week
Only two announcements were made for WWE SmackDown next week. After attacking her this week, B-Fab will have a chance at revenge when she battles Naomi in a singles match. Also, WWE Universe will get to witness the debut of Rey Fenix, who was revealed to be WWE’s newest signee this week on the blue brand.
