Best Match:

I wouldn’t call these great, but pretty good. That would be Xavier versus Rey as well as Gable versus Kingston. Not great, really good. And the last monster trainwreck was enjoyable for what it was-especially the last minute of it, with Rollins returning after the ring had collapsed.

Worst Match:

Zoey and Lyra. Couple issues with it. As soon as we were told before the match that Lyra had no backup, you knew PFC was going to attack, and someone would show up. The match was a bit clunky, and Kayden and Katana’s run-in didn’t get a big pop, nor was it super crisp. That is on PFC as much as the faces, for what it’s worth. And I will say, not a huge fan of Valkyria having partners or backup in such flux. Just not a fan of the lack of continuity for things, though yes, I know Carter and Chance have reason to hate PFC.

Noteworthy Moments:

A new, more mature Bron Breakker? Perhaps Jey beat some respect into him?

Kofi gave up his title shot against Jey, giving it to Xavier Woods instead. That match is next week, on our first two hour RAW in a long time.

Didn’t happen on RAW, but was announced on it:

Bron bumps into Gunther, stares at the big gold belt and says…you’ll see me sooner than you think. Breakker to save Sami after defeat next week?

Holy Sh@# Moments:

R-Truth is BACK! And, he got Pearce to book him and Miz a match with Aop. Or, as we know them, the Authors of Pain.

Mild, but Sami Zayn finally got his next match with Gunther. The world champ beat him up first, but Zayn got the match.

We knew Miz wouldn’t stay face forever…

Next week? First 2 hour RAW (and RAW results) in a long time. And that show? Already probably wishing for that third hour. We have Sami challenging Gunther for the title. Jey defending against Xavier. Sheamus against Pete “Butch” Dunne in a donnybrook match. Based on available time, I suspect we won’t more than one, maybe two other matches?

Seth Rollins is back. Yes, that trumps the ring breaking.

Lowlights:

That this was our last three hour RAW until (maybe) the show heads to Netflix. Sometimes, three hours of RAW (under prior management) would drag on. Now, it feels like two hours won’t be enough.

Highlights:

Really enjoyed the Hell in a Cell promo segment. I feel bad for the ring crew who had to set up the structure, only for that one segment, before having to tear it down and move it to Atlanta and do it again. Unless WWE happens to have a couple Cells?

Rollins is back, Bron is moving on to a bigger belt, and the show was just a really fun one for the most part.
