Quick Results:

Best Match:

Lots to like. Drew and Sami was really good. The IC tournament match. I liked both a lot.

Noteworthy Moments:

IYO SKY gets to get in, and advance in, the women’s IC title tournament thanks to Kairi Sane being attacked by Pure Fusion Collective. Some suggested that Sane being attacked might be part of a Damage CTRL implosion, but stay tuned.

Also, this latest vignette sure seems to confirm Penta is coming to Netflix.

Holy Sh!@ Moments:

Lots more heel victories than faces makes me think the next live RAW (tonight’s was taped, everyone is home as they should be) should be a hot one for the final RAW on the USA Network.

Poor Kofi, in Boston, couldn’t even get a smile and a nod of approval from his own mama. And with Kingston and Woods taking issue with Joe Tessitore and most notably Wade Barrett…could Barrett join Big E in coming from the announce position for a battle?

Lowlights:

As far as taped shows go, I have no complaints At this time of year, a taped show is fine. I’d even be OK with those “end of year” highlight shows we used to get. Or a Tribute to the Troops special, which I was sad to see discontinued.

So…no lowlights.

Highlights:

Drew McIntyre finishing 2024 strong, and I would argue for him for Superstar of the Year. Considering his past few years? I do hope at some point in 2025, McIntyre gets his true big moment and a nice title run.

Finally look to be getting a star-making Otis/Gable program. I am here for it.

Wyatts and the Testament? Ditto.

Bloodline is on a revenge tour of their own after losing WarGames. Things will only continue getting crazier as we get into the new year.

After The Final Bell:

And just like that, our last (taped) RAW before Christmas is over. Santa is just about ready to climb up to the top rope and leap into chimneys around the world. He knows which Superstars have been naughty and nice. Hopefully everyone who read this far has a happy and healthy holiday season with friends and family!
