With the WWE in a new era under TKO, new reporting is shining a light on the select few at the top earning multi-million dollar salaries.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter at least 7 WWE Superstars are making over $5 million a year with 2 more possibly hitting that mark before the end of 2025. And one of those names is Roman Reigns.
“Aside from The Rock, the highest paid is [Roman] Reigns” Meltzer reported. Whatever stories went around from Jonathan Coachman that TKO asked Reigns to take a pay cut or restructure his deal are false.”
While no other names beyond Reigns and The Rock were mentioned in the report, the other high earners should, in all likelihood, include Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, John Cena and Randy Orton.
Roman Reigns hasn’t been on WWE TV since the Raw after WrestleMania XL but he’s still a big part of the company. He’s featured in the SummerSlam promotional material and many expect him to return as the event gets closer.
The OTC is still one of WWE’s most valuable assets both in and out of the ring. Even with a lighter schedule his drawing power still justifies a big contract.
In addition to his WWE contract, Roman Reigns is rumored to play Akuma in the upcoming live-action Street Fighter movie. The film is being developed by Legendary Entertainment and early casting rumors have included big names like Jason Momoa and Andrew Koji.
