After years of fans and wrestlers demanding it, WWE will produce another Evolution event this month. The all-women’s show will take place on July 13 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. And WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is rumored to return for the card.
The Diva of the Decade appeared on the July 4 tapings of Friday Night SmackDown and accepted Tiffany Stratton’s challenge for a WWE Women’s Championship match at Evolution 2. With Stratus’ return confirmed, here are four more WWE legends who could join her on July 13.
AJ Lee
AJ Lee retired from wrestling at the peak of her career in 2015. Since that day, fans have clamoured for her return. The discussion began to heat up more when her husband, CM Punk, returned to WWE in 2023. The Black Widow dropped a major hint ahead of Evolution 2025 by posting a photo of her old Converse-style wrestling boots. With Le herself stirring the pot, it seems that the wait to see her in WWE might finally come to an end at WWE Evolution PLE.
Lita
Much like Mickie James, WWE Hall of Famer Lita was also a part of a top showdown at WWE Evolution in 2018. The high-flying star had a brief run as one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions in 2023 and showed that she still got it. Lita is scheduled for a return or another in-ring match at Evolution could be a blockbuster addition to the stacked card.
Brie Bella
Brie Bella’s sister Nikki has already made her return to WWE in recent months. Unsurprisingly, rumors have swirled that the two could soon reunite on television. There might be no better time for that to happen than at Evolution 2.
Victoria
Victoria was a marquee name for the WWE women’s division in the mid-2000s. She left the promotion a few years later, but made her return in 2025 by signing a legends deal. Moreover, Victoria was also spotted in attendance for a few WWE shows, so an appearance at WWE Evolution looks like a real possibility.
Mickie James
Mickie James has been an active part of WWE’s backstage projects today. She was recently seen as a mentor on the reality series WWE LFG and has carved out a remarkable legacy as a top women’s wrestler. With James also wrestling at the first WWE Evolution show, she could lace up her boots again for the all-women’s Premium Live Event.
Gail Kim
Gail Kim is among the trailblazers who paved the way for women, especially as an authority figure in TNA Wrestling. She was reportedly in attendance backstage at recent NXT tapings. Creating rumors that she may be returning to the company anyway in an agent role. She might as well suit up one more time for the special event this month.
