Some AEW contracts will expire in the near future, according to a new report. Several of those All Elite Wrestling veterans will surely interest WWE. Let’s take a look at the six stars that could soon hit pro wrestling free agency and be targets for WWE’s front office.
Danhausen

Danhausen might be heading for a new chapter soon. His AEW contract is reportedly up in July 2025, and WWE is very interested in bringing him in. According to reports, things could start moving sooner than expected. Danhausen has not been seen on AEW television of late but has been working on the indies. His strange, adorable character, together with his large fan base, could make him an excellent fit in the more character-heavy style of WWE.
Private Party

Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen, aka Private Party, are also believed to be nearing the end of their AEW contracts. Fightful reported that WWE has already shown interest in the team. Once seen as rising stars in AEW’s tag division, they haven’t had as much spotlight lately. But if they head to WWE, they could bring their exciting style to NXT or even mix it up with some top stars on the main roster.
Chris Jericho

Right now, Chris Jericho remains one of the biggest names in AEW but his contract expires by the end of 2025. There’s no official word on if he’d return to WWE but fans and insiders are definitely talking. Jericho is a former WWE Champion and future Hall of Famer so if he ever did go back even for one last run it would be a big deal.
Daddy Magic and Angelo Parker

Matt Menard, AKA Daddy Magic, and Angelo Parker (fans may remember them as 2.0) are also under AEW contract until August 2025. They’ve mostly been in supporting roles lately, but they’re known for bringing a ton of energy and personality. WWE could see them as solid additions to NXT or even the main roster, especially with how much the company values strong character work.
