‘- While Bray Wyatt worked the recent WWE Starrcade event, placed in an angle along with Baron Corbin, the Eater of Worlds has yet to show up on Monday Night RAW, and has had an extended absence from television storylines since he and Matt Hardy retired their tag team months ago.

Could the WWE Universe be in for a shocking Bray Wyatt return come the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view (PPV) slated for December? The Wrestling Observer Newsletter chimed in on this idea recently, stating that a potential replacement option for Braun Strowman, who is currently out due to injury, very well could be Bray Wyatt.
Reluctant to say the least to send a human of this caliber into the general population. But at this point I am only a servant. And this is God’s will.

Only time will tell. There is plenty of time between now and TLC, and while a PPV surprise return would be fantastic, setting a storyline up for Bray Wyatt prior to the event might be as shocking (and far more impactful) if he shows up unexpectedly on a RAW between now and December 16th.
– Elias has done a fantastic job as a face, since he surprisingly made that turn during the October 22nd edition of Monday Night RAW; the very same night Roman Reigns made an unexpected announcement regarding his leukemia diagnosis. With a huge babyface void left by The Big Dog, Elias has nicely stepped up to the plate and ran with the new role that was given to him.
Having said that, according to WrestleVotes on Twitter, this wasn’t the original plans for Elias. Prior to Roman Reigns exit, the plan was to turn Dean Ambrose heel by screwing his Shield Brother Seth Rollins out of his Intercontinental Championship during a match against Elias. Meaning that Elias would have been crowned IC Champ.
See tweet below:
Interesting tidbit for those who like this type of thing: prior to all of RAWs creative plans going up in flames last month, the original Ambrose heel turn angle was to see him cost Rollins the IC title. Who was scheduled to win the strap you ask? Elias.

Therefore, sadly the WWE Universe missed out on seeing a heel Elias become IC Champ. Here’s hoping for another championship opportunity of sorts for this WWE superstar in the near future.
