The Four Most Outrageous Moments From The October 23rd Raw

The Raw following TLC was bound to be big. Not only did the PPV mark the return of Kurt Angle, but we’re officially in “Survivor Series” season. WWE is advertising hard that this is the “one night a year” when Raw stars face off against the stars of Smackdown Live!

As the build for the fall classic began, a few big moments came with it. Here are the four biggest!

4. Kane Is Back

In preparation for his impending feud with Braun Strowman, the Big Red Machine made a big splash. He destroyed beloved wrestler and fellow demonkin Finn Balor with THREE powerful chokeslams. Some fans groaned at this. Personally, I think it is a good idea. Kane needs to be re-established as a true monster. No better way to do that than by destroying a fan favorite.

3. Heyman Scoffs At Jinder

The Survivor Series match between Lesnar and Jinder is now official. Heyman took the opportunity to bury Mahal as a champion unworthy of Brock’s time. We’ll see how Jinder responds (I bet he brings up India!) on Smackdown.

2. Alica Is The Captain Now

Apart from each champion going against their counterpart, there will be traditional five-on-five matches for both genders. While we don’t know about the makeup of the male team, the female team’s picture is not much clearer. Angle put Alicia Fox, Sasha Banks, and Bayley in a match to determine the captain for the Raw Women’s team. Most of us assumed it would be either Sasha or Bayley and Fox was there to eat the pin. But the surprises keep coming! Alicia Fox, now with a t-shirt and a small push, is the captain of the Raw Women’s Team. Will her craziness get in the way? Will she make a team consisting of her and four buckets of paint? We’ll find out!

1. Smackdown Besieges Raw

Earlier in the night, Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon showed up to speak with Raw GM Kurt Angle. Angle thanked McMahon for the loan of AJ Styles. He also traded a few barbs and promised to bring it at Survivor Series. Friendly banter, right? Well, apparently it was more than banter. The entire Smackdown Roster showed up and decided to fire a huge shot in the build to Survivor Series. We got ourselves a good ol-fashioned invasion! I love this stuff! Nothing gets me more excited than some good backstage brawling and chaos!

Will Raw respond on Smackdown? I reckon they will!
