Sting To Retire Because Of Injury

Sting is done wrestling and officially retired, according to reports out of TMZ Sports.

At September’s Night of Champions, Sting was badly injured in the neck area. He was later diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis — a condition affecting the nerves that can result in extreme pain and discomfort. It’s the same condition that forced Edge into retirement.

The 56-year-old is expected to make an announcement during the 2016 Hall of Fame, which he headlines.

There’s no word if Sting will remain with WWE.
