Smackdown 1000: 8 pm EST
Show opens up and R-Truth is in the ring with Carmella for an edition of Truth TV. Truth welcomes everyone to Smackdown 1000. Truth says the history of his show has had many great moments. Carmella says she hates to break it to him, but Truth TV only ever had one episode… and it got cancelled. At this, Truth decides to bust out a little dance and change the subject. Truth is then about to introduce the first guest, but first they do another dance break.
Then, finally, Stephanie McMahon is introduced as the first guest. The crowd boos Steph as she gets into it. She says she was the first-ever general manager of Smackdown. She had a vision, and it’s so nice to see that vision come to fruition with this 1000th episode of Smackdown. Truth is about to ask his first question, when suddenly Shane McMahon’s music hits. Shane O’Mac makes his way to the ring as the crowd cheers. They chant his name and Stephanie asks why SHE never gets any love.
Shane starts into it and the crowd gives it to him. He thanks the audience for making it all possible. Steph says the crowd just eats whatever they’re fed and she can’t believe they’re buying Shane’s song and dance. Steph says Raw is just a better show. They wouldn’t, for instance, kick off the night with something the likes of Truth TV. Shane says on Smackdown they put things on that the people want to see. But now Vince McMahon’s music hits and he struts down to the ring.

Vince says that the people don’t want to see Shane and Steph bicker and fight. They want to be entertained. So how will they entertain them for Smackdown 1000? How about a dance break? R-Truth yells “Dance break!” and they all get down.
You heard the boss…

Randy Orton, Ric Flair, Triple H and Batista come out for an Evolution reunion. They all cut some promos and jerk each others’ chain a bit with some heartfelt comments. But then Batista says that Triple H has done it all in the business… except beat him. There is a tense moment until Triple H and Batista hug it out. However, the question of the tension between them still lingers after the segment is done.

Edge comes out and says he’s been watching Smackdown lately and he’s here because he noticed something. He says it sounds weird but the Rated-R Superstar is going to try and be the moral compass. Then he calls Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to the ring. The crowd chants her name enthusiastically. Edge says he and Becky have a lot of similarities. He knows what she’s going through. He wasn’t supposed to be on top. He had to fight and scratch and claw for everything he ever earned in his career. Just like Becky.
The crowd chants “You deserve it!” But, says Edge, Becky didn’t make the right choice when she threw away her friendship with Charlotte. Edge made those same choices. He left a path of burnt bridges in his wake on his way to the top. The choices Becky is making now will change her. They will stain her soul. Edge says the way Becky is going, it simply ends with her staring at all her accomplishments on the wall… by herself. And, Edge says, she won’t even like herself. Becky tells Edge he’s right. She doesn’t like herself. She loves herself.

Then she tells him to get out of her ring and to not hurt his neck on the way out. Edge just shakes his head, disappointed. Then Charlotte’s music hits and she comes out and says it doesn’t matter what anyone says, Becky will do what’s best for Becky. Charlotte asks Becky if she really loves what she’s become? Then she attacks Becky and the two brawl in the ring. Officials have to pile into the ring to pull them apart.

Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (c) vs. The Bar
Back from commercial and Big E drops Cesaro on the back of his neck. He gets a near-fall. Then Big E spears Sheamus off the apron through the ropes. Sheamus hits a Rolling Senton but then Big E hits him with a Big Ending. Cesaro races over and hits Big E with a Neutralizer for a 2-count. Commercial break.
Back again and The Bar hits a team move on Big E. Sheamus pins with his feet on the ropes but Kofi Kingston, who is not officially involved in the match, knocks his feet off and chastises him. Then Cesaro and Sheamus start to move threateningly toward Kofi. That’s when the Big Show’s music hits and out comes the Giant. He helps Kofi up but then suddenly Chokeslams him through the announce table. Big E looks on angrily but is caught with a Brogue Kick from Sheamus for the 3-count. The Bar are the new Smackdown Tag Team Champions.
Winners: The Bar (c)
After the match, the Big Show poses with The Bar as they show off the belts.
