Two of the best wrestlers in the world right now are Seth Rollins and Kenny Omega. While fans would like to see those in the squared circle, the biggest and most obvious obstacle is that they do not wrestle for the same promotion.
At yesterday’s ACE Comic Con in Chicago, Rollins was present alongside Alexa Bliss; where they took part in a Q&A with fans in attendance. When asked which wrestlers not under the WWE umbrella that Rollins would like to compete against, he went with the IWGP Heavyweight Champion Omega.
“I would like to face Kenny Omega,” said Rollins during the Q&A. “I am the best wrestler in the world, and would like to prove that.”
His commented did not go unnoticed and Omega replied with the following tweet, which later saw Tommaso Ciampa toss in his opinion.
An exciting proposal…Now if only there were an appropriate venue for such a historic clash… ? https://t.co/zOxFKGAqk4

The odds of seeing Rollins vs. Omega and even Ciampa might not be too crazy. Several members of the Bullet Club, including Omega, having their deals expire at the start of 2019. WWE has shown interest in past and will probably make a move to sign Omega and maybe a few other names such The Young Bucks, Hangman Page and Cody Rhodes. One thing the stable has been vocal about is that they want to move forward together.
Rollins, Omega and Ciampa are highly regarded by fans and wrestling officials for the talent and ability to get over. If WWE can place all three inside the same ring, even if it is a combination of a singles match or triple threat, fans are sure to tune in. We will know in a few months if WWE can sign Omega to the company.
