It’s Christmas Eve once again, and am I the only one who simply can’t believe it’s already this time of year again! While Santa will be travelling all over the world this evening, giving out gifts to all those who were good this year, I have some Christmas wishes that he won’t be able to fulfill this year; however, he’s hoping the WWE can, come 2019.

Below are some of my Christmas wishes for the WWE and its superstars:
Fresh Start
When Vince McMahon and his kids (Shane, Stef, and HHH) made a huge announcement on Monday Night RAW this past week, I’m sure I wasn’t alone being a wee bit skeptic. I don’t really want to call this clean slate the “new era”, because wasn’t that what the WWE Universe referred to the old era as some few years back? If it is indeed a “fresh start”, then I like it to feel like one. I’ll give the WWE some slack when it comes to programming until the week of January 7th, because of the holidays and pre-taped shows, but after that, bring on some entertaining storylines, fresh programs, good rivalries, and new matches for both RAW and SmackDown LIVE. Pay-per-views (PPV) thrive on what is build on television, and the cycle breaks down when one component is weak.
Thoughts on #RAW

The Return of Bray Wyatt
I’m not at all opposed to NXT call ups and fresh faces, but c’mon WWE, where the heck is Bray Wyatt? Why introduce new talent onto the roster when you have talent that can be used already, with a superstar who has organically connected to the WWE Universe, so flawlessly. I get it has been hard for WWE Creative to come up with storylines for this enigmatic persona in the past, but he’s been kept in the shadows for far too long, and needs to come out; fresh start and all.
To all that have loved and supported us we say thank you.
And ask that you have faith in us.
I was put on this Earth to fix it, to change it.
And I will not die until this is so.
Goodbye my brothers and sisters.
The journey is far from over.

A New Universal Champion
I’ve said it multiple times, I have no issues with Brock Lesnar and respect the man for his contributions to this business. When he shows up to Monday RAW, the crowd roars, and there is no one who can captivate a live audience during a promo better than his Advocate Paul Heyman. So yes, the two together are highly entertaining together … when they do so up that is. I know I speak for many within the WWE Universe when I say I’m tired of a part-time champion. Not having the Universal Championship represented weekly on Monday nights is one of the things I believe is holding the Red brand down in terms of storylines and main events. I’m not opposed to having a part-time champion now and again, especially if it is best for business, but Brock had a tremendous first-time reign that ended at Wrestlemania 34, and here we are approaching WM 35 and he’s champion once again. Surely, there is another superstar that can hold the top spot down in the absence of Roman Reigns (looking at you, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, or even Drew McIntrye). #AnyoneButLesnar
The Man Main Events Wrestlemania
Becky Lynch has been on fire since the 2018 SummerSlam, and once again a star is born thanks to the WWE Universe. Yes, I was a tad disappointed that Becky and Ronda Rousey couldn’t have a match at Survivor Series, thanks to Nia Jax’s sloppy punch job during the PPVs buildup; however, the possibilities around cancelling that match has led to an idea that Lynch could potentially close Wrestlemania 35. In that, a childhood dream would be granted, as well as the idea she’d be making history along with Rousey, and the WWE Universe would truly be seeing something we never thought we would get to see. Women closing the Grandest Stage of Them All aside, had you told anyone within the WWE Universe this time last year that Becky Lynch would potentially be closing this flagship show, they (myself included), would have laughed. What a difference a year makes! I love Charlotte Flair, but please WWE powers that be, make this WM 35 closing match a singles bout, with The Man versus The Baddest Woman on the Planet, and watch these women tear down the house!
While the rest of the division is on break and painting each others toenails, The Man is back around Dublin teaching and learning, working and improving. Any 1% chance Ronnie had of beating me is gone. My Christmas will be smashing that little weirdo in 2019. pic.twitter.com/DsfmXbm52O
