McMahon Upset With TLC Match? + Speculation On RAW Announcement

‘-If you caught TLC last night, you know by now that the Intercontinental Title match was not well received. The match, which concluded with Dean Ambrose once again capturing the Intercontinental Championship, had it’s fair share of “this is boring” chants. Several wrestling outlets are reporting that Vince McMahon was seen to be furious at this happening.

The reality is this: whoever put the card together botched things up at least once, quite possibly twice. For starters, this match was given a terrible spot. You could argue that the next-to-last match would have been better off for something less high profile-the Mixed Match Challenge finale feels about right. The second botch was making such a heated and personal feud just a wrestling match, on a show named for tables, ladders and chairs.

There could be a positve taken away from all this, given the chants for Becky during Dean and Seth’s match, along with the quality of the main event itself. Perhaps Vince McMahon will realize it was not really (or entirely) fans hating the Intercontinental Title match. Perhaps he will take it as fans really want to see great wrestling, and right now great women’s wrestling. While we know of nothing set in stone, one has to think things are trending up for women to main event WrestleMania.

-It was announced yesterday that Vince McMahon would be on RAW with an announcement coming. Naturally, there is a ton of speculation as to what it could be. One easy option would be the naming of a new RAW GM, considering how Baron Corbin was squashed last night. However, former GM Kurt Angle appeared on TLC, so perhaps Angle does not get his job back.

One rumor that could make sense is a possible draft. While the draft or Superstar shakeup tends to happen following WrestleMania, allowing feuds to be wrapped up, given the nature of RAW, it makes sense. The brand has a number of top Superstars down or limited, and ratings are plummeting. McMahon could see even a limited draft or swap of talent to be beneficial or needed.
