‘- As the WWE Universe gears up for this Sunday’s Big Four pay-per-view (PPV), Survivor Series, many fans were quite pleased with last night’s go-home episode for Monday Night RAW, especially the close, in which the ladies from SmackDown LIVE invaded the Red brand, creating mass chaos as the show came to an end.
Other Survivor Series highlights included a confirmed RAW men’s team, where Finn Balor, Dolph Ziggler, Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, as well as Bobby Lashley will be competing for brand supremacy and bragging rights for Team Red, come Sunday.

Interestingly enough, PW Insider Elite Audio’s Mike Johnson recently stated that Kurt Angle was to play a role on the men’s RAW team; however, was removed from the original team concept. While Johnson is not sure why the plan changed for Kurt, he did state that it was Angle, not Balor, who was set for the men’s team at Survivor Series, and that Finn came in last night and was given the spot.
– But, is Kurt the only one who’s role has been nixed from Survivor Series? As of this writing, SD LIVE Commissioner is set to be a part of this Sunday’s PPV, participating within the men’s SmackDown LIVE team during the traditional Survivor Series’ elimination match; however, this plan may change before the week’s end.
PW Insider Elite Audio’s Mike Johnson recently stated that while Shane is still advertised for this Sunday’s Big Four PPV, he also may be swapped out, where another Team Blue superstar will be placed in his spot. Johnson relayed that sources had stated to him that McMahon would not be part of the match, and Randy Orton would join the SD LIVE men’s team when all is said and done.
Johnson also noted that Shane McMahon was slated for a RAW segment last night, which was seemingly scrapped. While the plan was for McMahon to participate in a Survivor Series promo during the show, something changed creatively, and Shane was written out.
