Braun Strowman’s TLC Status, Vince McMahon Returning To TV

Vince McMahon Returning To TV
Simply put, his name is Vince McMahon. He created the WWE and has already shown once that he doesn’t mind wearing his own company’s gold. Vince turned 69-years-old this month, so he might start slipping into dementia and decide he deserves to become champion. Perhaps, he feuds with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H with the title somehow being involved. The McMahon family loves attention and who’s going to tell the boss no?

‘- One of the biggest questions heading into the TLC pay per view is if Braun Strowman will be cleared to compete. A few weeks back, Strowman was written out of storylines after being attacked by Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre as he required surgery.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plan is for Strowman to work the show. While Strowman will appear, the belief is that he will work in a limited role. We could see Corbin easily win the match and become the permanent RAW General Manager or Strowman could get the job done with one move.

There has been speculation that Kurt Angle or Bray Wyatt could get involved. Neither have appeared on TV in over a month. We know Angle will be in the area of TLC on Monday, so he could easily make an appearance during the pay per view.

– It is not secret that the WWE ratings in recent weeks have been historically low. Due to the record low numbers, Vince McMahon will appear on TV during RAW.

There is no word on what Vince will do or say, but it could be a major announcement. The idea for Vince to appear was only made within the last 24 hours and is being seen as a result to increase the declining numbers.

Below is the official announcement from WWE.

Mr. McMahon returns to Raw to shake things up this Monday night

One week after Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins placed the blame for Monday Night Raw’s recent decline squarely on the shoulders of “General Manager-Elect” Baron Corbin, WWE Chairman and CEO Mr. McMahon will return to the red brand to shake things up, WWE.com can confirm.

The landmark appearance of The Chairman comes one night after WWE TLC, where Corbin intends to be named the permanent General Manager of Raw following a forfeit victory over the injured Braun Strowman in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match, per the stipulation handed down by Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. However, rumors abound that The Monster Among Men could make an appearance at this Sunday’s WWE TLC event and stop The Lone Wolf from assuming total control of Team Red.

With Mr. McMahon’s return imminent, however, Corbin could have a lot to answer for regardless of his position. How will The Chairman shake up Monday Night Raw, and who will benefit — or suffer — as a result?

Whatever Mr. McMahon has in store, you won’t want to miss it this Monday night on Raw, live at 8/7 C on USA Network.
