‘- If you have yet to watch last night’s RAW, spoiler alert coming: Braun Strowman suffered a massive beatdown at the hands of Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley after a six-man elimination tag team match left him as the sole babyface on the team. As the program wore on, the announce team stated that Braun Strowman had suffered some serious injuries, including a shattered elbow.

While storylines can exaggerate superstar injuries, Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer chimed in on Strowman’s condition stating that while he does need surgery, it might not be to the severity of a shattered elbow.

Stephanie McMahon had made two major announcements last night during the opening segment of Monday Night RAW in regard to Strowman. One being that he would face Baron Corbin at the WWE TLC pay-per-view (PPV) in December, and the other was if Braun won said TLC match, he would move on to face Brock Lesnar at the 2019 Royal Rumble for the Universal Championship. The flip side of the coin was that if Corbin could swing a win against Braun at TLC, his position as RAW’s General Manager would be solidified.
Meltzer noted that The Monster Among Men’s status is still ‘touch and go’, therefore there is no guarantee that Braun Strowman will be at the TLC PPV.
– Speaking of status, as Wrestlenewz reported earlier, AJ Styles and the WWE are currently in negotiations regarding The Phenomenal One’s new contract. While there are a ton of rumors flying, according to Ringside News, regardless of this new contract, AJ will still be with the company until Wrestlemania at the very least. Word is, Styles is trying to negotiate a contract where he works a lighter schedule, so he can spend more time with family.

As Styles was not a part of the Survivor Series PPV on Sunday, one has to wonder if he’ll be at SmackDown LIVE tonight? After all, he lost his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a quite controversial fashion, and he is definitely owed a rematch at some point in time.
Well, fans don’t need to wonder for that long, as Barnburner’s No Holds Barred Joe Peisich chimed in on Styles’ status for tonight’s SD LIVE. It seems that he’s been given the week off, and he will not be backstage for the show.
The thing about being a real Champion, a reigning, DEFENDING champion is that any day someone can beat you. But holding the title is more than just wins and losses, it’s about who you are as a man.
Daniel showed us that last night.

With it being American Thanksgiving this week, there is no better time to take off work and relax and enjoy the family. Here’s hoping that AJ Styles and the WWE can come to some sort of viable agreement, as The Phenomenal One is too good of a talent to let go of.
