‘- While Braun Strowman was not at Monday Night RAW last night, which took place in Houston, Texas, according to PW Insider, The Monster Among Men has been seen (not too far away) in Austin. This also happens to be the location for tonight’s SmackDown LIVE.
While Strowman recently underwent elbow surgery, as per PW Insider Elite audio’s Mike Johnson, the fact that he is travelling is a very good sign. No word yet on whether he’s been cleared to return to the squared circle for action, but with the WWE’s December pay-per-view (PPV) Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (TLC) looming, here’s hoping he can make a huge return and save the day for the babyfaces on the RAW roster. His match against Baron Corbin has a big stipulation attached to it, with Corbin becoming the permanent RAW GM if Strowman loses or forfeits the bout (due to injury).
Strowman is a Team Red superstar, so it is highly unlikely that he’ll appear on tonight’s SD LIVE; however, he may have been brought in to film a segment to take place in the near future, or participate in a medical evaluation.
– While the WWE Universe has been anxiously awaiting the announcement around WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, nothing as of yet has come to fruition.
However, there still is hope that something will pop up in the near future. It’s hard do ignore that Bayley made a huge reference to tag titles for the women’s division during her in-ring segment last night. Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer chimed in on the women’s tag title mention during Monday Night RAW, stating it was very significant, and the WWE likely has plans to unveil these titles soon. They really wouldn’t mention it otherwise.
Rightfully so; however, rumors around an announcement have been lingering for months now, with speculation around a major segment by Stephanie McMahon at the WWE’s all-women’s PPV Evolution, which took place this past October. Nothing was ever mentioned at that point in time, which leaves the WWE Universe wondering when this will all roll out.
With Road to Wrestlemania season on the horizon, hopefully a storyline/tournament will be announced shortly. Seems like that will happen, with the mention of the women’s tag titles during the clearly scripted RAW segment between Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, and The Hugger last night.
