Baron Corbin’s Push, Kevin Owens Has A New Look (Photo)

Baron Corbin’s Push

Since debuting on the main roster by winning the Andre The Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32 and later the Money in the Bank briefcase, it seemed like WWE had a major plans for Baron Corbin. Despite floating around as an upper mid-card wrestler with some time near the main event, Corbin has yet to be seen as a breakout star.

In June, WWE made Corbin the Constable of RAW and later became the General Manger Elect when Kurt Angle was sent on a forced vacation. Corbin had a chance to be the permanent RAW General Manager if he could defeat Braun Strowman at TLC. Despite Strowman being injured, he found plenty of assistance at TLC to help secure the win and remove Corbin from power.

PW Torch’s Todd Martin recently addressed Corbin’s position in WWE.

“I don’t think Baron Corbin is done,” said Corbin. “I think they still see something in him. He’s going to continue to get a push I mean he’s got some heat from the crowd. He’s not somebody that I have any real big belief in, but I don’t think he’s done by any means.”

There is no doubt the crowd dislikes Corbin. The problem is seeing if the fans dislike Corbin the person or the gimmick he portrays.

– When Kevin Owens returns to TV, he will have a slightly different look. As seen below, a picture appeared on social media with Owens sporting some new ink and it appears he is a bit lighter.

WWE wrote Owens out of storylines in October by having Bobby Lashley take out his knees. In actuality, Owens had been dealing with several injuries and underwent double knee surgery.

In recent weeks, WWE has been promoting Owens return as “coming soon.” Although, Owens will not be medically cleared until around February or March; so, WWE could still find a program for WrestleMania 35 or hold his return until after the big event.
