Triple H recently drafted NXTer JD McDonagh to Monday Night RAW, which has created a buzz that the talent could become a new member of the Judgement Day faction. Plus, Drew McIntyre has been pulled from the Money in the Bank (MITB) advertisement.
New Judgement Day Member
Once known as Jordan Devlin, JD McDonagh may have a bright future ahead in the land of the WWE. Since his draft to RAW, rumors have been buzzing that he could join the Judgement Day faction.
The Twitter handle, @ViperXero recently provided a spoiler about McDonagh. See above.
HHH sees JD as a valuable asset, and it looks like he’ll be given a push to shine on the main roster. It didn’t take long for the WWE Universe to add some speculation.
The tweets are above. It would be very interesting to see if this comes to fruition.
JD McDonagh Would Fit Right In With The Judgement Day
The RAW faction has Finn Balor, a former NXT Champion as the leader. In addition, members include SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio.
The stable could use another member with the personality and skill set that JD brings. It’s hard to say whether or not this rumor will come to be, so fans need to stay tuned to RAW to see what happens next.
McDonagh entered the WWE in 2016. He’s spent some time in NXT UK and NXT 2.0 and was the longest-reigning NXT Cruiserweight Champion.
JD will officially enter the main roster on RAW this Monday, May 8th. Here’s hoping he continues on a successful path for this next chapter in his wrestling career.
Over to other news, while JD enters the main roster, Drew McIntyre could be leaving it. It seems like the former WWE champion has been taken off advertising for a major WWE event.
Drew McIntyre Pulled From Ad
Speaking of speculation, Drew McIntyre’s future with WWE seems uncertain. This doubt continues as he’s no longer being advertised for the 2023 Money in the Bank (MITB) event.

This year’s MITB is taking place on Saturday, July 1st in the UK. The event is being held at the O2 Arena in London, England.
This is the first MITB held outside of the U.S. and the first held in London since May 2002. It also happens to be the first major WWE event held in England since June 2003.
More On McIntyre Being Pulled From MITB Ad
Last year, the Scottish talent was a prominent WWE figure for the first stadium event in the UK in three decades, at the Clash at the Castle. At that point in time, Drew faced Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title but failed to capture it.
UK fans are very excited at the WWE returning to their area and bringing a premium live event like MITB. While he was featured as one of the six superstars on WWE.com to promote MITB initially, he is no longer there.
McIntyre has been now replaced by Roman Reigns, who wasn’t originally scheduled for the show. Unfortunately, reports are suggesting that Drew’s contract is up with the WWE at the end of this year.
Added reports also suggest that McIntyre is no longer happy with his character’s creative direction, and the money that is being offered with his new potential contract. Drew is currently off due to injuries following WrestleMania 39.
Drew McIntyre’s return to events and TV is unknown at this time. WWE cards are always subject to change, but currently, Reigns, Bianca Belair, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, as well as Rhea Ripley are being used to promote MITB.
